Progressing Through Miracles

Tolstoy, in “Four Ways of Facing Fear and Defeat” shows our reactions to the  “crisis” management of life. The first is to “get drunk and forget.” The second is to “give way” to despair and “just not care.” The third is to “steel oneself” against the situation and prefer to “not be bothered.” The fourth is to “accept it” and take it as it comes “like a zombie.” To these four Jesus would add a fifth part. He ask you to “use it” as a means of grace in searching through it for the strength of the One who will make us the Victor through His way of miracle strength! There is a way to a miracle progression. [Mark 2:1-5]

Out of the wilderness of confusion and perplexity can come gladness and joy for the one who chooses the path of miracle progression. The prophet Isaiah stood between a world of the past and the world which he foresaw in the future. The ‘ promised land’ had become a polluted land and Isaiah stood viewing the debris caused by the destruction that man brings upon himself by wasted opportunities and the failure to recognize God. He looks into the future and sees the miracle that will bring joy and gladness if God’s way is chosen. [Isaiah 35:8-10]

If you get to where you think you are going, where will you be? In our world there are many routes and the choice is always left to the individual as to which will be taken. Often when one reaches a goal they discover that it has not brought the miracle of happiness to their lives. The way that seemed so right now seems so wrong and we are in need of miracle progression to release us into the reward of prudent and wise steps. [Proverbs 14: 12-13]

It is a trick of the wilderness of man’s opinion to believe that our burdens are heavier than others, or that our cares and responsibilities that we face are greater than those of our neighbors. Our eyes are dimmed by the fading shadows of missed opportunities and we feel as though there has never been an opportunity and no miracle progression is available to us. Remember that life brings difficulty to all. Joy and happiness come to those who find in trial and testing a fellowship with One who knows the way to a miracle. [Proverbs 14: 14-15]

Focusing on introspection of past burdens, malcontent and mental patterns serve only as a distraction. One does not focus upon the roadmap of a city to drive the actual route to the place desired. So is there no path to miracle progression through introspection. It is only a reference point of the grace of God and His mercy of forgiveness through the miracle of wholeness. The very burdens of life, present or past, provide an opportunity for blessing. The focus upon those entanglements of a yesterday experience are just as valid as the glance at a roadmap which brings focus yet needs be traveled from to gain access to the place of desired travel. Jesus provides miracle progression as we lay our burdens at his feet for the relocation and redistribution of weighty mental, physical, spiritual and financial matters preparing our hearts and minds for a fresh burst of miracle ideas. [Matthew 11:28]

There is a way to your miracle progression! Doubts and fears – dragons of the soul – come to every life. When they arrive in your life should you flee them unrealistically you will find yourself in deeper despair. To take a good look at the weight of these matters , to face them realistically, is to recognize the need for the help of the One who can bring us a miracle and provide rest and courageous calm to our soul. Repentance and reception of forgiveness unloads those things improperly loaded and makes our life’s focus easier for travel on the way of the miracle progression! [Matthew 11: 29-30]

After describing all the relationships to a desert of mental gymnastics and its difficult ways, Isaiah speaks, “There is a way…’ Jesus, in full view of all difficulty spoke, “take up your bed and walk…” You are already on your way, your miracle progression is here, now is the time in the face of the desert of man’s opinion and opposition to rise of up and walk in your miracle progression! This will not be a typical Monday, Monday for you![Isaiah 35:8-10] [Mark 2: 5- 11

Fear is the Vault Door of God's Wealth

Faithful readers and supporters,

Today I print an email answer that was given to a fellow bi-vocational minister. The answer to the thoughts of the deceitfulness of riches came with the flow of anointing. I share his email and my response with you…

Brother Greg, Here is what I was trying to say last night. I do not care how God chooses to use me to turn this nation to him as long as I am being used. However, I have great fear of the deceitfulness of riches. May God bless and keep you and continue to lift your head up, as He shields you and your entire family from every weapon that is and would be formed against you. (From his inexhaustible storeroom) Lord give us wisdom so we can make the most of the short time we have here in this world for the purposes of your kingdom.

Good morning! Yesterday was quite a whirlwind! On the subject of riches… Fear is the vault door of God’s wealth. Satan uses our understanding and our knowledge of what others have done to warn us of coming into the riches of God. I have seen many men come to the vault and walk back into manageable money because of this fear. If you walk into the vault you will need a finance manager to manage the wealth. If you do not you will manage the amount you can manage and God sees to it that you are not overwhelmed by this. When you can look at your statements and see many zeroes without the fear of lapsing into spiritual mediocrity then God has brought you to where he wants you to be.

Money is a tool, like your car and it has to be maintained. Yes, some trappings of wealth will show up, but what would you ultimately do with the wealth? I have proved time and again that I will lay it at the feet of Jesus and proceed with risk and nothing but my faith to achieve what He wishes.

Brother, please do not take this as a pride statement. I have been in the management of millions of dollars several times. Then there are times that a cup of coffee is hard to buy. So, how do I act? Just the same… I am the same. Whether rich or poor my spirit man is the same.

This is the challenge.

Money is the tool to reach this generation. It has always been. Joseph had to be removed from the wealth of his natural lineage and father so that he could go to mega riches in the Egyptian system in order to have the control of an amassed storage system of wealth when his father, who was faithful to Jehovah, would have need. All of Joseph’s sorrow, trouble with family, imprisonment, loss of pride was to bring him to the ability to keep the bloodline of Israel alive. Brother, this thing is bigger than all of us.

It is why the Kings and the Priests must come together with wealth storage. Lift up your eyes to the overall picture. Your gift will bring you before great men who turn nations unless you yield to fear of wealth and do not walk through the vault.

Word of Wisdom Revealed

Moses records that God said, "But truly, as I live,all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord." How can this be? We know that the goodness of God is His character revealed. We understand that the greatness of God is His power demonstrated.  But the Apostle Paul writes, "For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."

And again to the Colossian church, "To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you the hope of glory."  Over our ministry years we have seen manifestations of God's character and power in and through the lives of God's people. His character exudes through love, joy, peace, mercy, patience, kindness, gentleness, self-control, truthfulness, generosity, forgiveness and the spirit of Christian justice just as accurately as the Apostle described 2000 plus years ago! He preceded the learned by declaring that his speech and preaching was not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that our faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God which produces His wisdom in us, the glory among us!

Nestled among the Gifts of the Spirit is the Word of Wisdom and it seems to be that we have relegated this gift to wise old folks with good words and prosperous ways.  There are those among us who  wonder if the Gifts of the Spirit are for today while others accept some Gifts while refusing others. They did not stop existing and are in use though not widely understood. The Word of Wisdom is where the Glory of God is revealed in every generation. It is your answer for today.

"Spiritual Gifts are supernatural endowments or empowerments that God provides in a specific situation. Talents are natural endowments, characteristics, aptitudes, or dispositions that a person has in general. 

A Gift has two definitions. One is when the ownership of something is voluntarily transferred by one person to another without compensation.  The other is a notable capacity that sets apart or distinguishes one from the rest. The endowment of some special power or ability.  When you look at the Greek definition of experiencing a special endowment or gift or favor given by a diving being they referred to is at Charismata. It's definition is one who is with grace or favor of the giver.

The special grace or favor denoting these extraordinary powers, distinguished the early Christians and enabled them to serve the church. The reception of these gifts was due to the power of the divine grace operating on their souls by the Holy Spirit.  So where is the Word of Wisdom revealed? The Greek word for it is 'sophia' meaning to have good sense. The ability to know the right course of action. Having sound judgment.

The Word of Wisdom is simply the supernatural ability to offer practical application of a truth or to give the appropriate course of action.  The recipient finds within it the ability to provide divinely given solutions in the midst of conflict and confusion. It is able to discern the unseen consequences in determining the next steps to take.

There are some cautions. Don't fail to share with others the Word of Wisdom that God gives you.  Avoid letting others develop a dependence upon the words of wisdom operating through you, it could weaken their faith in God. Don't become impatient with others who do not have this gift. Remember the wisdom is not from you --- it is a supernatural endowment from God. Don't become preoccupied with any of the spiritual gifts. Keep your relationship with Jesus the most important thing in your life.  This supernatural ability will be able to offer the practical application of a truth or to give the appropriate course of action. "

So, How will the Glory of God fill the earth?  As God's people, filled with the Holy Spirit, exercise the Spiritual Gift of the Word of Wisdom!

Such As I Have...

It was a normal worship day. It was a normal trip to the worship center, the temple of Jerusalem. It was a normal grouping of men including Peter, the Apostle. It was a normal conversation about normal things as they neared the entrance at the normal time. Until...

"Alms, Alms,"  cried a voice sitting just out of eyesight near the front door of the church. It was a natural sound of the setting for folks often sat begging the worshipers for a bit of money or substance.  Among the noise of all the other natural sounds of the church this voice stood out to Peter and he stopped. What happened next was a division of Kingdom Assets.

You see, I believe every believer is endued with a deposit of supernatural substance upon the entry of faith.  I believe that we are walking, talking bank depositories of the Kingdom Assets of Jesus Christ. Just as there are the exhibitors of the trust of every major wealth base in this world the believer is a branch bank of the goodness and authority of the power that Jesus Christ proclaimed he possessed.

The documented words of Jesus state, " All power is given to me in heaven and in earth..." These are the claims and authority upon which the Kingdom of Heaven is built upon earth.  And to the believer who exhibits faith in the Kingdom of Heaven upon this earth it is a power of attorney to access the Kingdom Assets.  It is in this mind that Peter redirected the substance that was to be granted to the questioner.

Local money which was accepted at the local grocery store was asked for. Cash for product. The exchange of assets.  The money in one hand exchanged for the necessities stocked by the grocer. It was a reasonable, natural request.

Peter's redirection to what was available went like this, " Silver and gold have we none, but such as we have we will give.  Take up your bed and walk."  Consider this proposal. The requester is crippled. The bed is his cushion to make the long days comfortable. The position at the gate was coveted by all other beggars. Now this man before him is challenging him to get up and walk!

If he could walk, he could work.  If he could work, he could get his own money every day without the mercy of people and enter into the commerce of the nation's assets.  But now this natural request was a supernatural invitation to freedom from the beggar's assets.  A bed and a place to beg.

Hmm. Let's see.  A buck or freedom.  Hmm. Being carried to the begging spot every day or freedom.  Hmm. Looking up at ankles and knees all day or freedom to look eye to eye with those he meets.  Hmm. His children coming to him or him going to his children. Hmm

The offer was not a "I will help you up."  It was a "get up."  Action was required.  The taking of the Kingdom Assets was offered not given.  If he wanted he must take.  And he did!

I don't know if he sprang into action.  Or, if he rolled over onto his knees and pushed himself up with his hands.  Or, if he rolled up his bed before he got up. The Bible just said that he got up, accepting the Kingdom Asset offered, and ran through the church praising God for his miracle!

For those of you who have believed:  You are a filled with Kingdom Assets. Share and enjoy the power of giving "Such as you have."  A gift of tithe, a missionary gift, a bag of groceries are all nice and these are Kingdom Assets deposited in you to have to give. But, what you say, let's offer miracles from our depository.  If they are never offered they will never be received. Hmm.

For those of you who have not believed or need a deposit of Kingdom Assets within, "Such as I have I give."  In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.   Walk from your pain. Walk from you addiction.  Walk from you negativity.  Walk from you sin.  Walk into freedom and receive your deposit of Kingdom Assets from the Bank of Kingdom Assets today!

Let's you and I turn this natural day into a supernatural day!!!!
